This Privacy Policy explains how Zilius, Inc. (“Zilius,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit www.zilius.ai (the “Website”), contact us, or otherwise interact with us as a business contact, such as through meetings, email or events. It should be read together with our Terms of Use.

1. Summary

In short: we collect the information you give us when you contact us, plus basic technical information about how the Website is used. We use it to respond to you, run the Website and grow our business. We do not sell it. Patient health information that we handle for our hospital and health-system customers is not covered by this Policy; see Section 2.

2. Patient Health Information Is Covered Separately

Zilius provides software and services (the “Zilius Platform”) to hospitals, health systems and other healthcare organizations. When we process patient information through the Zilius Platform, we do so on behalf of those organizations and under our agreements with them, including Business Associate Agreements where the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) applies.

That information is not covered by this Privacy Policy. Nor is account information about the healthcare organizations’ staff who use the Zilius Platform . Both are governed by those agreements, applicable law and the privacy practices of the healthcare organization, such as its Notice of Privacy Practices. If you are a patient and have a question about your health information, please contact your healthcare provider. If you contact us instead, we will try to direct you to the right organization.

Please do not send patient or other health information through the Website or the contact form.

3. Information We Collect

a) Information you give us

When you fill in our contact form, we collect your first and last name, your email address, your phone number (if you choose to give it) and your message.

When you email us, meet with us or otherwise do business with us, we may also collect your job title, your organization, and other details you share about your organization’s needs.

b) Information collected automatically

When you visit the Website, our website platform provider, Wix.com, automatically collects:

  • your IP address and the general location it suggests;

  • your browser, device type and operating system;

  • the pages you view, how long you stay and the website that referred you; and

  • the date and time of your visit.

This information is collected using cookies and similar technologies, described in Section 6.

c) Information from other sources

We may receive business contact information from partners, event organizers, referrals or publicly available professional sources, such as professional networking sites. 

4. How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

  • respond to your inquiries and arrange meetings;

  • provide information about Zilius and our services, including follow-ups you ask for;

  • send business updates about Zilius, such as product news or events, where permitted (you can opt out at any time).

  • operate, maintain, secure and improve the Website;

  • understand how visitors use the Website;

  • detect and prevent fraud, misuse and security threats; and

  • comply with the law and enforce our Terms of Use.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information collected through the Website. We share it only as described below:

  • Service providers that help us run the Website and our business, such as our website platform provider, Wix.com, and our.They may use the information only to provide services to us.

  • Professional advisers, such as lawyers, accountants, auditors and insurers, where needed.

  • Legal and safety reasons, where required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Zilius, our customers or others.

  • Business transfers, as part of a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of all or part of our business.

  • With your consent or at your direction.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. The Website uses:

  • Essential cookies, set by our website platform provider, Wix.com, that the Website needs to work and stay secure; and

  • Performance and statistics cookies, also set by Wix.com, that help measure how the Website is used and how well it performs.

We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels on the Website. 

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Website works.

Some browsers send “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signals. Because we do not sell personal information or use the Website for targeted advertising, these signals do not change how the Website works.

7. How Long We Keep Information

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes in this Policy, for example while we are in conversation or have a business relationship with you, and for as long as needed to meet legal, accounting or reporting requirements or to resolve disputes. When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous.

8. How We Protect Information

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no website, transmission or storage method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Choices and Rights

  • Marketing emails. You can unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email or by contacting us.

  • Cookies. You can manage cookies as described in Section 6.

  • Access, correction and deletion. You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under applicable law, and we will respond to requests as that law requires.

To make a request, email us at ziliusmaster@zlilius.ai. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. We will not treat you differently for exercising your privacy rights.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Website is intended for business and professional use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Visitors Outside the United States

Zilius is based in the United States, and the Website is intended for users in the United States and Canada. If you visit from another country, your information will be processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

12. Third-Party Websites and Social Media

The Website may link to third-party websites and social media pages. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices. We encourage you to read their policies before sharing information with them.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated Policy on the Website and change the “Last Updated” date above. If we make significant changes, we will take additional steps to tell you where the law requires.
